Subject: Important: Visual Arts at Wilson
Hi Second Grade Team!
I am very pleased to say that your final P.S. ARTS rotation, Visual Arts, begins on Friday, March 17. Please let me know if you have any questions. Here is some info as you get started with Visual Arts:
Instructor: Your visual arts instructor, Malena Alzu, will be teaching room to room. Please let us know if there is any possibility of using a designated classroom. Visual arts is sometimes messy and requires set up, so a designated classroom space would be best.
Calendar: Art class meets on 3/17, 3/24, 4/7, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26, 6/2, 6/9
Open class informance will be on Friday, 6/9
Schedule: Unless you would like to make changes, classes will maintain the current schedule.
The schedule currently is:
8:30am - 9:00am Prep period
9:00am - 9:50am Bowser (2/3 combo SDC)
10:30am - 11:20am Adeyinka
12:05pm - 12:55pm Apodaca
1:05pm - 1:55pm Ricketts
2:05pm - 2:55pm Alvarenga
Please note the following change:
Minimum day schedule will be followed on March 24
8:15am - 8:45am
8:45am - 9:15am -- 2/3 combo special needs class
9:20am - 9:50am -- Adeyinka
10:10am - 10:40am -- Apodaca
10:50am - 11:20am -- Ricketts
12:10pm - 12:40pm -- Alvarenga

Subject: Final Theater Class Informance - Parents Welcome
Hi Team Wilson,
Thank you so much for a wonderful Family Art Night last night! It was especially fantastic to have you all show up and support your students and their families.
We can hardly believe that the second graders are nearly finished with Theater, their second P.S. ARTS rotation. The last class on Friday, March 10, is an open class informance, where parents are invited to take part in the learning beside their children. Please send the invitation attached below home with your second grade students.
